Early century set help from a TCDBer
The 21st century that is. In November of 2018 I was ripping some dollar store re-packs because they were cheap entertainment. 80 cards for 3 bucks, or something like that. It was within these re-packs that I got my first 2002 Ultra card. I wasn't buying packs - or cards in general - back in 2002. I was on a card hiatus since our store closing a few years prior. Damn, these are nice I thought. Everything about them was top notch. Sharp full bleed photography, a cool looking nameplate, and backs that had all the stuff that a back should have - and readable. Very slowly I started picking up singles, mostly through TCDB trades. Just before the pandemic-boom hit I found a box of Retail at a decent price. A few more here and there after that. A recent forum post on TCDB by member, supergajit looking to make some deals caught my eye. Through a quick purchase these 10 get us closer. That leaves 29 "base", and 63 SP's to go.
