My largest TCDB buy of 2025, so far.

As promised yesterday, here is part 1 of my largest TCDB purchase of the year to date.

The final tally was 213 cards coming my way. Aschroyer had such a variety to choose from that matched my wantlist that I decided I wanted all of them. A deal was struck, so here is part 1. Starting with the oldest and moving forward.

There are a ton of Blue Jays, similar to previous posts, and a several set helpers mixed in.

These 1988 Topps Box Bottoms get me to within two of that set.

Same for the 1992 Fleer All Stars, 22 of 24.

Quite a few empty slots in the Jays binders will get filled today.

The 2000 Fleer Mystique and Skybox set builds continue slowly but every card helps.

I do like the 2002 Fleer Platinum set just enough for lazy run at it. With almost half of the SPs in hand why not.

Center of the top row is the first numbered card to show up. A gold out of 2002. The Ultra right next to it is a serious active set build. It is a beautiful set in my eyes. The Turkey Red in the bottom left is out of order, I know, just didn't want an empty space.

Here are the hits from the first third of the box.

On card auto from the 2002 SP Authentic Prospects Signatures set that was a 1:36 pack pull from 24 pack boxes. Nice!

I had never seen one of these odd 2003 Fleer Double Header Keystone Combinations Memorabilia.  According to the back it is an "authentic Game Worn Jersey, worn by Jose Vidro". It showed up on my wantlist because of Hudson. It's a little strange they didn't make a mem card for each player. It is the only card in the set that has a Jay on it so this file is closed.

That's it for Part 1.

Thanks for reading!

  1. What a haul! It's great to get so much work done on so many different sets. The Huckaby auto is keen.
